Founder of Horizons Careers

This is my Story
 

I have had different careers in research, conservation, policy, international development, and diplomacy, but they all had one thing in common: I have always loved what I do. And that's why I founded Horizons Careers. Horizons Careers is my passion, helping people to be as happy at work as I am. 

I am educated to PhD level, and have lived and worked in the UK and 7 African countries. With over 30 years experience in academia, not for profit and international development & diplomacy, I have held senior roles in the British government and with major global organisations. My international expertise means clients can unlock a global career with purpose, whether for the public, charity or private sector and no matter where they live.

As a working mum, I am passionate about helping women get back to work after a career break bringing up children. 

I am both UK and US qualified as a Career Coach, a Senior Professional Career Coach with the US International Association of Career Coaches (IACC), an international member of the British Career Development Institute (CDI) and an associate of the South African Career Development Association (SACDA). I adhere to the IACC Code of Ethics, which includes standards on the highest levels of professionalism and absolute client confidentiality. So you can have confidence that Horizons Careers is guided by this Code, that I undertake continual professional development and have a wide professional support network.
